Xi'an Xianyang International Airport 西安咸陽國際機場 (IATA: XIY, ICAO: ZLXY) is the main airport serving Xi'an, capital of Shanxi Province, as well as the whole Guanzhong area. Covering an area of 5 square kilometers (1.9 sq. mi), it is the largest airport in Northwest China. Terminal 3 and the second runway were opened on 3 May 2012, increasing the airport's capacity to more than 33 million passengers a year. Our parent company AICC and its subsidiaries started to provide airport equipment and related service to Xianyang International airport since 2001, over a series of projects. AICC has contributed to old terminal refurbishment, airfield lighting, central air conditioning system, aviation garbage incineration, moving walkway and phase 2 expansion.
